No offense to the guys and gals who use their Saharas for offroading and doing the JK name proud (you're definitely excluded from this generalization), but I can't help but think that the Sahara and it's matching colored hard-top, fenders and chromed out bumper accents were just MADE for the soccer moms and I-ain't-into-that-Jeep-culture-thingy people out there? Hey have to keep the brand profitable, right?
All this fuss over painted fenders?? Really?
And my point was always about the snobs that buy Jeeps and treat them like Honda Accords. Not Jeepers. Jeepers are all cool
Jeez. Painted fenders!? Good lord man, makes me want to use my touch up paint on my fenders right this minute!

I personally love mall crawlers. I suck at this off-roading thing so it's nice to know there will by plenty of pampered wranglers for donors in a few years by the time I break all my stuff.

LMAO - Dude, you drive a Detonator Yellow Automatic Transmission Sport...
1 - Yellow (reminds me of a Hummer more than a Jeep)
2 - Automatic Transmission (typical route to go for the soccer mom)
3 - Sport (why not just go with 2wd to save even more $$)
BTW - No I really do not feel this way, but who the f* are you to judge us based on what model we drive?

Haha dude you had to know you were gonna take heat saying this. I drive an X two door with on AC and the color as options. I don't even have a center console. And I love it and do believe that is the way Jeeps WERE. But... we aren't in TJs anymore. The new JK brought 4 doors which is already a shift away from the old norm. So why not make it a little more enjoyable to ride in and more pleasing to the eyes. Like I said I love my 2dr X and wouldn't trade it for the world. But if I wasn't the sterotypical college kid who just wanted to be a part of the crowd early... I would love to have waited and saved up and got a 4 door Sahara.

I wasn't judging you, that's the point. I'm not against Saharas. I actually think they're awesome because they keep the Jeep brand alive by bringing in the non-traditional Jeep owner. The non-traditional Jeep owner is the one I have an issue with. They're a little clueless. But a necessary evil.
