On a side note; why would a bug deflector need to be diamond-plated? Isn't d-plating for grip? Deflectors are supposed to create a slipstream over the hood, no?

It's funny that you mentioned that. I was just thinking about when I was lifting this morning. I guess it would help when walking across your hood???

By the way, I haven't backed down from what I said about Saharas. The general makeup of this trim style is suited primarily for onroad use. Yes it can offroad like any of the others (actually better than a stock Sport, but not as good as a Rubicon) but you have to take extra care not to destroy it's stock plastic steps, painted fenders, and etc. Most offroading Sahara owners end up getting flat fenders, rock rails and other goodies anyway. Just sayin...
