Nice. I wish I had my 5.7 still (Charger). Is there a Manual trans that bolts to the 5.7?

I knew Ron and Sue when I first go into boat racing back around 1988-89. At that time they had one of the first if not THE First Black Thunder Powerboats and it was a 32'. I think the Fountain/Dragon Lady was their next raceboat and their last one, if I am not mistaking. I am not sure if they would really remember me or not. Maybe my name if they contnued to follow racing. Tell them I said hi if you see them.

Absolutely! Will do. As I was saying, Gerry from Screamin Lizard Customs has offered his full support on this project. I guess I am kinda like the little guy doing it in his garage (or my 1200 sq.ft. shop) and I will be doing a full write up (w/ pics) on my website as a step by step process. I also will be using some of the AEV parts too that SLC also carries.
I am really looking forward to this project and my biggest decision right now is, if I am going to put the HEMI in my current Sahara or if I am going to be buying a new/different Rubicon. My engine is a 2008 and so I can go with up to a 2008 Jeep. I am thinking now to go with the Jeep now and then learn from the build and then a 6.1L HEMI (or more) in the next Rubicon... Dare to dream...

Stay tuned...
