Has anyone tried the Rugged Ridge wheels show in the various catalogs? Any thoughts or opinions?
Thanks

Default Got 'em, I'm happy with them

I took a chance on them and I'm glad I did. They're a very nice quality wheel and the finish is top notch.

This little rock in my buddie's yard is handy for a number of things. On this occasion we were checking bumpstop height.

I believe these RR wheels are hub centric like the stock wheels and the AEV wheels too... Right???

They are indeed hub-centric. When I took the JK in to have them mounted, I told them to remove the little retaining clips around the wheel studs; because the wheels are hub-centric, it's very important to remove them or wheel won't "sit" correctly.
Well, I checked torque after about 20 miles and at least 2 lugs were loose on each wheel. I retorqued, checked again in about 20 miles and they were loose again. Off come the wheels and there were those damn retainers. I ripped them off and that was the end of it.
The shop could have had a spendy bill on their hands had I not double and triple checked their work.
