Default Rugged Ridge A pillar switch pod

Anyone else have one installed? Installed mine yesterday and it looks ridiculous in my 2011. Not even remotely CLOSE to a factory fit. Anyone else?

Don't quote me on this but I seem to remember reading that while they fit the '11 & '12's, they are a closer match to the '08 - '10 model years.

Yep - I tried in my '12 and didn't like the fit. Seems they could have done a better job or at least not advertise it for the '11 and '12 like they are doing. Mine's sitting on my workbench.

I installed one in my new 2012 and didn't think that it was a great fit. I like the location but the fit and the sheen (color) was off. My buddy does high end audio installs and will probably get him to fiberglass it to fit closer to the 2012 dash.

I completely agree. I have a 2011 myself. I'm an idiot though, I installed the switches before test fitting so I can't even return the thing. I was so bummed when I went to install it and it had a horrible gap from the dash.

I called them a few weeks ago and it only fits the 7-10 they should have the 11-12 model out in a month or so.... You should be able to return it.. It is there fault for advertising the wrong year and they are pretty good people...

Bullseye, it just says "JK 07-up" I wish I had known that the 2011 is not considered up. Mines already been cut for the switch and installed, but I'll just buy another when they make one that'll fit

I'm in the same boat but with a little heat and some patience made it work. Just don't look when the door is open.

The one for sale now is ONLY for 07-10. They are about to release a new one that fits the 11-12, it was at SEMA

Me too. But I figure I can sell it even with the cut out. Whoever buys it will want to put a switch in it. I saved them some work with the knife.
