Posted response to the color on the other thread. No to the black color but as you can see in the first image on this thread it is installed on a 2011 JK. I used a quality satin black spray paint to match the new dash. Also you will see where the 2011 dash rolls down and has a small visible gap between the pod and dash. This was filled with a small piece of black foam.
Pods will be available some time after February 10th but please understand that this is a rolling date.

X3 on the Pod/Gauge Mount + switches. The only other Pillar Gauge mount offered that i know of is over $200

I really do like the new switch panel. I may pick one up anyway and find a different way to mount gauges.

Default Rugged Ridge Proves Their Customer Service Is Top Notch...Again!!!

So I installed my Pillar Switch Pod last night and posted some pics on a "what did you do this week..." thread. I mentioned that I might do some tweaking because it was making contact with the door a little when I closed it. I was not worried about it, nor was I complaining. I was in a bit of a hurry to button things up last night so I figured I'd look everythig over again today...now for the awesome part... Un-prompted and once again I am completely happy with the Pod, I receive a PM from RR Thanking me for buying it and explaining how to trim things for a tighter fit. WOW, who does that anymore? Rugged Ridge has continued to earn my business time and time again with their willingness to listen to our feed back i.e. - Snorkel, and provide great service. I know I'm gushing, and not eveyone will agree with me, but great service deserves some praise, and here's to you RR!!!

Installed yesterday and noticed the edge along the windshield is curved slightly, not straight like the OE covering. Is this supposed to curve or did my plastic warp?

How are these different/better than just cutting into the current panel?

These are really good looking. I would like to get one with the four switches so I can get my lights wired up.

I really like it, except the rocker switches themselves are expensive IMO.. will a $2 generic rocker switch from Pepboys fit?..

It should. There's up to 4 cutouts you can choose to remove with a box cutter.
