I've been running a 2" spacer lift and 17/58 springs and 285/75R16 for the last 6 years on my 07 and have been very happy with the set up both on and off road. I run 11" travel Bilstien 5100 shocks in the front and 10" in the rear. My Jeep came stock with 14/55 springs.

With my steel bumper/winch up front it was necessary for me..I wanted a more level stance.

If you are going to do it I would do springs and spacers at same time. I went back later and added.
