Rubicon Hold Up
For those of you who were wondering where all the Rubicons were, it turns out there was a hold up in their delivery while a problem with the electronic sway bar disconnects were being worked on. Apparently, it has something to do with water and electricity not agreeing with each other. Man, who would have thunk?
Well, I sure hope they got this thing fixed cause I sure would like to get my hands on mine before the years up

you mean water makes a better conductor then an insulator? um... ok.. this is news to me. Seriously though, did they not think of this before they took pictures and advertised it going through rivers and what not? I just hope they work it out soon so there will be one for me when I'm ready.

makes me wonder about the few rubis that came out already then. think a recall will be in order for them? or did they pass the inspection before they left the factory?

All the Rubicons were held in storage for a long time while they were being retrofitted and I'm pretty sure the few that are out now are just the first to be completed.... or, so we hope. Either way, I would put good money that there will be at least one recall on the 2007 JK and a dozen or more TSB's issued in the years to come. But, that wouldn't stop me from getting one

Nope, that has been fixed. Did you order your Rubicon with a hard top and is it an Unlimited? If so, the problem is a shortage in Hard Tops and close to 60,000 JK Unlimiteds that on order right now. If you can sit tight till Jan, you should be seeing yours by then.
