Default Rubi Rail cap removal

I took off the Rubi rail end caps this weekend after discovering mud gets in and can't get out causing some rust. You basically pull the xmas-tree fastener on the bottom of the rail near the end cap and pull off the plug. Spray the inside clean and touch up with some krylon to stop surface rust.

I took mine out a while ago. When I pressure wash the truck I spray from the back to the front until the water runs clean and then do the reverse. I've also been thinking to drill some drain holes towards the middle.
