Default rubber stopper on soft top latch breaking??

I have gone through 3 of these damn little rubber stoppers on the soft top window latches. All they seem to do is make it easier to unlatch by allowing ringer room under the latch.

Has anyone else had these break??

Also... i am not sure, but without the rubber stoppers, i think the top seal a bit tighter and i havent noticed leaking anymore... i could be wrong.. or it could be coincidence. oh well

I've had the same problem but only on my passenger side. The rubber "nipple" that holds the stopper on sheared right off. So far I've just put a small bolt with a nut on the backside and it is working. The only thing I can see happening is that the bolt may pull through the stopper head, since it is too small to use a washer on.

Where are you getting the replacements? I'm sure they're cheap, but don't feel like going to the dealer for these.

It certainly makes it a PITA to unlatch the top with these missing.
