As the title says, which rock sliders should I get? Looking at either the Pure Jeep or LOD Signature Series.. Let me know your thoughts and post pics if you have them.. Both are pretty sick!! I'm undecided.. HELP!!

I'm dealing with that same issue. I like both of you're choices, but I think I'm leaning toward the LOD's mainly because they look like they will be easer to install. Just Lazy on my part I guess.

I went with the LOD. They're stout. Installation will take a few hours. WOL posted a great writeup on the install.

Have you checked out white-knuckle Offroad...hit him up on Google. I just got mine and installed them a week or so ago...they look great and are STOUT! I will post pics and write a review soon, but I can not say enough good things about John and his products at this point.

I had the EXACT same dilemma.
I like them both very much.
I have seen them both in person and installed.
Both are outstanding.
Without getting into the old as jeeps argument over body mounted versus frame mounted: IMO for outright overall body protection I would have to honestly give my nod to PJ. For three reasons: More clearance/less points to hang up on. They spread any contact over a wider surface area. I like the tucked in look better.
I am NOT saying frame mounted is bad, or wrong as there are two schools of thought on it, it just happens to be my opinion that the PJ is just a smidgen better in these categories. Frame mounted is very strong. If you want it even stronger you could have them burned in.
That being said, Step height is what finally pushed my decision.. The LōD is slightly lower. Marginally so but for me every little bit helps. Another inch higher and I would have trouble getting into my Jeep. I can’t just step into it and haul myself up anymore. I have to back up, get my left leg bent up and hook my heal on the step, then use the grab handles/steering wheel to haul myself in. I needed that for my health issues so what I have is the LōD. But MAN was it hard to decide!
