Richard Hammond likes the Wrangler
For those that don't know, Richard Hammond is a co-host of the world renown British carshow Top Gear. He was interviewed by GQ Magazine about his favorite American cars and the Wrangler made the list. This is coming from a guy that gets paid to drive the fastest cars in the world all over the world.

"I dismissed it at first; I thought it was going to be awful. But it's fabulous, and got me thinking about the Wrangler in general: It's a retro car and you could knock it for that, but you know what? It works, it's competent, it's efficient for its size. You can still take the doors and the roof off, and that still makes you feel good. And if a car can do that, who cares how fast it goes around a corner at the Nürburgring?"

Glad to hear Hamster giving the wrangler props. I know he is a huge Land Rover fan so that's kind of surprising. However he probably likes more American cars than Clarkson and May combined.

YES, I've been waiting so long to hear hammond's view on the wrangler. I've seen all the range rovers they do on top gear, all the land cruisers, etc. Never saw a wrangler.

The Jeep Wrangler Hampster Edition:
-Adjustable pedals
-Booster seat
-Comb holder in the center console
-MREs ( so he doesn't have to eat anything besides chicken and beef)
-Double fold down step-ins
-Extended washing brush for roof
-Smaller steering wheel
Just kidding...much love to the Hampster for loving our JKs.

Need to add "two rung side steps" to the list.
Maybe three rung?
Good to see but can't say I'm super surprised. He likes American vehicles in general, likes offroading, owns modified Land Rovers and some kind of competition offroad 4x4, and likes classic and classically styled vehicles.
FYI - If anyone is an Amazon Prime member you can watch a bunch of the British Top Gear seasons for free on their website. I'm working on season 7 right now and think it's 6-15 or something and a few of their specials.
Great for entertainment while working around the house.
