Default Removing the TPMS

If I change my wheels without putting the TPMS sensors.

Okay, I will hear the "ding ding ding" each time I start the engine, but any other inconvience?

That will be your only problem. Some have mentioned they put the sensors in PVC and pressurized it...and the light went away. Haven't seen or tried it myself. Common cure is to get a tuner that will disable it (think hypertech does it, superchips for sure)

Not sure about your area, but I won't pass inspection without them.

Thanks

I hear this "ding" since 2 years anyway because I keep my tires at 28 psi

The ding isn't bad but the low tire symbol is lit up along with the gear selection indicator(auto tranny). It is bright at night and can't be dimmed. Very annoying.

Thanks, I will sell them

I don't use it anyway because I put my tires at 28 psi, thefore the TPMS are useless

I asked my dealer to adjust the TPMS at 25 psi, but he can't dot it because it's illegal (federal law)

Of course, I can buy a Superchip, but I don't want to spend my money for that.

Before you do that, you might check out this thread:

Removing the TPMS

I'd be interested to know if it works (curiosity, since when I bought my Jeep they still trusted us to keep our tires at proper pressure without being nagged).
