Default Removing soft top

Wondering what the proper way to take down the soft top

roll rear window up and use the bands ? ... Or take it totally out

Put the corner panels up on top of roof then fold ... Or tuck them into the trunk then take roof down

I always roll my rear window up, it's a pain in the ass getting it back on.

I fold the corners up not down like he says is stupid.

I also tuck all the extra top inside the tailgate vrs him pulling it all out, looks messy the way he does it and that's gonna be flapping everywhere going down the road.

I've seen/been told about too many "right ways" to take down the top. The owners manual tells you one way. Forum members come up with a bunch of other ways. YouTube shows even more ways.

Does anyone know the definitive "right way" to put the soft top down?

1. How do you deal with the back window - Take it off vs. Is it safe to leave it on?
2. How should the top be folded in the back?
3. How should the sail panels be placed/folded?
4. When putting the top back up, should the header bar latches or the sail panels be attached first?
