Default Removing soft top?

I guess the time to put the hard top back on is approaching soon. I have never completely removed the soft top before and I am just wondering how much of a chore it's going to be. Any hints/tips would also be appreciated

take the top down all the way back to the tailgate then remove the few screws that mount into the roll bars and the top is off. then just remove the surrounds by removing the screws on top of the roll bar. Done.

Great! That doesn't sound too bad. Thank you! Any suggestions on storing it?

you could buy a boot to store it inside, otherwise if you want to be cheap like me and have a garage, I bought some hangers from lowes, mounted them to the ceiling. bungy wrap the top to hold it folded together, then I saran wrap the whole thing so that it is sealed from dust and any moisture from the winter and hang it from the hangers. then used some eye bolts and some rope or zip ties to keep the frame tight to the ceiling too, out of the way then for the season.

Cheapest and probably the best way to store from a life/longevity standpoint, a boot wouldn't protect the bars/frame (not much issue as they are painted but you could get some exposed areas that moisture could creep into).

looks god aweful but works and like I said, cheap

Check it out.....easy and cheap. Do a search, you can find almost anything you want to know about on this forum.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do for a storage solution.
