Default Relocation mirror brackets for stock mirrors or aftermarket mirrors

I'm hunting around for mirror options. Just wondering about other peoples experiences because I have questions on both methods. Seeing how i don'teave my doors off for security reasons but enjoy riding around with doors off my first question is if I relocate factory mirrors to the mounts on the side if window will the door break them off if slammed into them? I wouldn't want to take them on and off every time I put my doors back on. And does the electrical movement work when you relocate them. I've tried the drop in method rugged ridge type and they shake so much you can't see out of them. Are the mounted ones any better and if so back to original question, will they break off if the door is on and is blown open by the wind? I have a 2014 jku.

I use rugged ridge with longer screws due to light bar. Works fine.

I use the Rugged Ridge brackets and mirrors (they look like the old style Willys mirrors). Mine are pretty solid and don't shake when driving on the highway or crawling along at a snail's pace.

I use the Mopar relocation bracket, and it comes with a TJ mirror. Driver's side only. Not even sure if they still sell the kit. I leave the relocation bracket on the Jeep, and then just install the TJ mirror when I pull the doors--three Allen head screws takes about a minute. It is a very solid mirror with no more vibration than the stockers.

And for those who are going to post, "But my state requires three ...", I've checked each and every time for the state of the person posting that, andhaven't found a state yet that requires three mirrors. One inside and driver's side, or two outside if inside view is blocked. But, if you really want one on the right side, one enterprising fellow suggested getting a small stick-on, wide-angle mirror and attaching it to the air vent so that you can turn the vent to adjust the mirror view.
