Was wondering if some people could post some pics of their regular tinted windows and if some could post pics if they opted for the deep tint option.

Deep Tint (My Jeep)

 

"Regular" tint as actually what we commonly think of as non-tinted windows. All cars list "tinted windows" on thier build sheet. This is because the glass is not crystal clear. It is tinted very slightly to keep heat down inside your vehicle and keep UV rays from destroying the interior as well.


So just go to the gallery and look for JK's that have dark tint on them. That is the "deep tint" option, "regular" tint is all the other JK's that appear to have no tint.

 

Thanks for the pics guys. Yeah that is what I thought. I ordered the deep tint option on my Rubicon and was wondering how dark the windows actually were. I havent' seen a Rubicon my way as of yet.

 

This may be a highjack, but I couldn't anything on this topic.
When you order the "Deep tint suncreen" option ones with the dual tops, are the soft top windows tinted, or are the hard top window tinted, or both. The weird part is that this option is listed at $300 regardless of which top option is selected (hard, soft, or duals).

 

Yes, with the dual top option, both the hardtop windows and the three soft top windows get the dark tint if you select the "Deep Tint Sunscreen" option.

 

What Steve said... Both my tops came with the dark tint.

On mine it says tinted and at first thought I was getting screwed by the dealer....then I saw another sticker that said Privacy Glass...realized that is what I would think of as tinted!
