I personally think the 4 doors are fugly.imho If I wanted a 4 door suv, there are plenty of better choices out there..

The 2 doors are under powered as it is,then you with the added wieght of a 4 door and they become downright pathetic..

I undrstand most people want a 4 door for convenience, they just don't seem like wranglers to me..

And I am hoping by the time my 2 door Sahara arrives(on order since 1/15/07) that there will be a glut of 2 doors on the lot and I will get a small rebate or incentive of some type..So keep buying those 4 doors

i have had 2 tj's and the 4 dr make allot more sense for everyday use.but i kinda miss the 2 dr every now and then.it more like a sports car vs the 4 door.
but no regrets.

This is my first Jeep, and I love it! I wouldn't have considered a 2 door. The ride is better than my buddies 2dr. I also think the aerodynamics of the longer truck help to keep the soft top quieter.

My only regret is that DC didn't do this sooner. There is so much about this vehicle that is superior to my TJ, but I would have kept the TJ if the JK unlimited had not arrived.

I'm with Tedlick...I've always wanted a jeep (my Unlim. X is my first) but could never justify it on daily driver practicality reasons. The 05/06 Unlim really caught my eye but even after test drives couldn't go for the two door thing.

Then I saw my first picture of the 07, screamed "SOLD!!!" and started looking. After cajoling, wheedling, and begging my wife for 4 months, I finally drove mine off the lot and even she wants to go out to the trails every weekend now(had it three weekends, been three times...haven't even done anything really fun yet, I'm still stock)

Was about to buy an 06 Unlimited a year ago when I saw the pictures from last year's Auto Show. Waited for the 4 door and it was the best move ever. It gives me the flexibility I need, but I think each model has its own niche.

Looks like everyone loves their unlimited's. I am still trying to hold off on getting mine a little longer but it is very rough especially when we drive by the dealers and I see them setting there just wanting to be taken home. Then my wife keeps telling me to just go get it so she wont have to hear me complain about not having one. We are having a baby in march and I am wanting to hold off and see how finances look then. Thats really my only hold up on getting it.

It's a lot easier putting a carseat with baby in the back with four doors rather than two. So there, that's your excuse! It's just as important as having the crib and other gear ready!

Ability to fit 4 adults + my full grown Golden and Black Lab while wheel'n is something I'd never thought possible when I had my YJ and TJ.

I have yet to see the limitations of the longer wheel base or the extra weight of the 4 door.
