Default Recharging/cleaning Air Filter

First time to clean my Volant air filter, and was wondering if I need to watch out for any "gotchas"? To my Noobie eyes, everything looks okay, but thought I'd post a pic on the off chance that one of you Pros spots something amiss.

Yes. Bought the CAI used w/ filter, but the filter needed cleaning. Based on the amount of cleaning fluid and oil I used, there is probably enough left for 10 more "recharges". Would everyone think it's better to have too little oil on the filter, rather than too much?

Yes it is better to have less than to much b/c the oil from the filter can get sucked back into the engine and mess things up eventually. Not sure how but oil in the air and fuel mixture is never good.

I also agree that you don't want to over-oil it. I'm guessing Volant should have detailed instructions on how to do it for their products.
