I am looking at getting a Superwinch EPi9000. Good price for a good winch with a good warranty. I have seen them for 570 on Amazon. If I wanted to go less expensive, I would go Smittybuilt. 299 for the 8K or 399 for the 10K (that is the one I would get for an Unlimited.)

Very Very Very Very subjective question lol
of course, we all do.
But it depends on your definition of good quality and good price.
the Smittybilt XRC8 is decent quality and its 300 bucks but some say its too cheap, and its made in china.
the Warn M8000 is very high quality and a good price at around 700 bucks. But most dont think 700 is a good price lol

I've read alot of good things about the Warn M8000. This is the one I'm seriously considering. I saw where a bunch of people got this one for around $500-$550 as recently as December, but there's been a significant price increase since then. If I ever see it at this price again, I'm definitely picking it up.

I bought my M8000 when they were still cheap...saying that if I had to do it now I would still buy it. It's a damn good winch and hard to beat, I've had a couple hard pulls with mine and keeps on tickin, it also comes with a lifetime warrenty. I do understand that we're not made of money (atleast not me), but a winch is one of those things you get what you paid for and you don't want it to take a sheeeiiittt while you're using that. If you are looking for a cheaper route look a tabor winches, they're made by warn have the same design but they're rebadged and only come with like a 1 year warrenty.

It is a tough decision. The one time I got stuck... I didn't have a winch and we used a come-along to get out. Have a Warn xd9000i and haven't used it yet, other than practice. Go middle of the "road" and you will mostly likely do well and feel good about the dollars.
