Type: 2012 JKU Rubicon
Trans: Auto
Gearing: 4.10
Tire type & size: Stock Rubicon 255/75/17s - 32s BFG MTs
lift size: 2" Mopar spring lift
MPG: 15 around town, 19-22 long freeway trip.
Current odometer: 1494
RPM: around 2100 at 60 mph, 2400 at 70 mph
Driving conditions: freeway was recent 1100 mile round trip from Irvine to Southern Utah
Mods: Mopar enhanced rock rails added some weight, no other mods.
I just completed an 1100 mile round trip from Irvine to Southern Utah and the freeway section readings were 20.2, 18.8 and 22.0. The 20.2 included going up the Cajon pass and staying at 55-60 for the first 1/3 of the miles since I didn't have 500 miles on the JK yet, the 18.8 included the desert grades over the mountains in California and Nevada and the 22.0 was downhill from Barstow back home. The EVIC readings were 19.4, 19.7 and 21.1 respectively. I held it on cruise at 70 mph except for the long grades where I held it at 60 or 65 mph to keep the revs in the green ECO zone that tops out at 2500 rpm. All was with A/C off except the last leg.
I"m thrilled that I could get this with 4:10s.

2012 JKU
3.21
Stock Sahara model
City: 15mpg
Highway: 22mpg
That's real city (stop and go at every block) and real highway (steady 70 to 75MPH over long distance New England interstates with curves and hills). Overall average around 18/20. As low as 13 in city with construction. Not anything over 25 on highway at slower speeds.

Type: JKU 2012 Sport S

Those of you still with "low" mileage on your 2012's hang in there, mine was down around 16-17 for 1-2000 miles, but it is getting better now.

Love my 2012
Type: 2012 JK
Trans: 6 spd
Gearing: 3.73
Tire type & size: Stock Sport S Hard top
Lift size: none yet
MPG: 20+
Current Millage: 480
I can get around 21-22 with a mix of small town/highway driving if I keep it around 75 or less on the interstate. 80 mph + on the highway nets about 19 mpg (160 miles from dealer to home). Teraflex 2.5 coil lift will be here next week along with some 35x12.50x17's so we will see what that does to it. So far I'm very happy with the MPG.
