Same info I have found ... just waiting to break something and will go with 4.88 and lockers. BTW a Superchips programmer will really help with stock gears, I did that and a CAI and cat-back free-flow and notice a difference, more power and less need to down shift on stock gears.

The superchip will definitely be in my jk's future! I'm gonna go with a banks stinger system which is a ram air and cat back system.. good stuff.

I've had my 35's on for about with 4.10's and while it's not horrible, the trans does like to shift in and out of 3rd and OD trying to find a happy spot. So I decided to bite the bullet and have 5.13's put in.

From what I understand and have been told its not absolutely crucial. The re-gear is what will get u back to "like stock" drive line. Do you have manual transmission? If its auto it would probably kill you MPG. If manual, you'd lose 6th gear.

Wow you guys make me seem crazy I was running 4.10 with 35's and I was good , plan on going 5.13 this month , but I scored some 37's and the 37's on 4.10 is not as bad I thought it would be but now I plan on going 5.38 , because I heard with the auto and anything above 35 the 5.38 are where it's at
