Rain, rain, rain

Rain, rain, rain
Okay, so I feel I can go almost anywhere in my JK with one exception, just like the wicked witch, the rain seems to melt my Jeep.
Hard top on- open the front door and it's a piss like stream of water onto the front floor. Soft top- the meeting place between the top and the frame leaks almost non stop. I've driven through high surf on Pismo Beach ,but a little rain!!!
Any Ideas-hey, maybe I should move to SoCal-it NEVER rains there

Yeah! I hate the water getting inside the jeep when opening the front door... Is there a solution?? I've been thinking about those airdeflectors but i hate how they look. Anyone found a solution?
I haven't had any problem with the softtop, but i can't really remember if it has rainede whe having it on.

LOL. You should move to San Diego right now!
OMG I havent see so much rain in the 10 years Ive lived here. I jus bought my jeep last week and its been raining ever since. The Sun god must have not like that move. Maybe if I return it the Jeep the Sun will come out .
I guess all there is to do is drink beer and wait for it to pass. On the other hand, I do have a nice new swimming pool in my back yard.
Cheers!

HA! Im in Long Beach and and it's not raining. riiiiight!!
For the past 3 days now Ive been dealing with this leak as well. I have been putting a rag and plastic bag between the door and roof. This prevents the water from leaking in. But it looks so gheetttto!!! lol

I'm surprised that even though the hardtops have raingutters they don't keep the rain from waterfallin' into the interior when the door is open.

I do hate that problem... There should be an accesory to extend the raingutters!

Ok, i just looked at the raingutters. Theres 2 main problems:
1. The point where the freedom top meet with the frint windshield, the raingutters can't extend any longer, so they end where they do and drip inside. Lets say this one is hard to solve.
2. The raingutters (on the front panels) are blocked on both ends, so they fill up with water and, because normal vehicle inclination is slightly forward, it falls from the front end. They have to let the raingutters from the freedom top panels connect to the raingutters on the hard top so water con go to the back of the top (because it will still be blocked on the front end, and the back end of the raingutter on the hard top, above the rear door, is open on that end).
Oh well.
