Don't need one..

As I told a friend of mine I have a sure fire method of never getting a speeding ticket aside from not driving. This was right after hearing about his 4th speedign ticket I let him in on the trick..

you ready...

you sure?...

ok...

Pay attention...

Here is the secret....

try.... not ... speeding.

Yea I know.. a radical idea but seriously... it works...

Default Radar is POINTLESS!!!!

Dont stress a radar detector....It's called a HOLD button. You push HOLD and wait untill the the vehicle is in range, then you push HOLD again and instantly capture their speed! When a radar unit is on HOLD, your radar detector will not pick up the radar untill it's turned on, by then....its to late!

Lidar is another story in it self....from almost a mile away it will have your speed. You wont even know it and neither will your radar detector. Your best bet will be to be polite and honest......Also dont use stupid excuses!!!!!

Also hope they are Jeep fans!

I ran an escort passport in my tuned civic for years. It saved me from a number of tickets but it's no guarantee. There's plenty of good spot on radar setups and the laser systems that you'll have no advanced warning of. It made sense to have one in the civic because I pretty routinely lead-footed that thing. One of the reasons I actually love the JK is that I'm never really enticed to see just how fast she'll go, and I definitely won't be once I get all the mods on her. Unless of course I somehow fall into some money and a Hemi...
