Question on stock tire carrier
I am considering fabbing a cheap Hi-Lift mount, very similar to the $6.00 Hi Lift mount in the write-ups section, but I am a bit concerned about the weight. The plan is to get a flat plate and drill holes to mount between the carrier and the spare, then bolts from that to hold the jack. What are everyone's thoughts on the added weight on the tire mount? I already have a 33" tire on Cragar steel rims, is adding the jack to that pushing my luck?
