Should tow that pretty easy. smear crisco all over your grass. that'll make it easier to slide. don't put it where your jeep is parked though.

Well, dragging means that you have to be concerned with the coefficient of friction--which I imagine for that boat's canvas fabric is pretty high. You can reduce the coefficient of friction by, as Sin52 says, lubricating the grass. Once you get it moving, it should be much easier to keep it moving (both because of inertia, and because there'll now be lubricate stuck on the boat), so you may just need to lubricate a few feet out in front of the boat.

I'm buying stock in crisco. Man that sucker should drag no problem once it gets moving.

X2!!!

Just curious, but are you trying to pull it from the Bow (Front), Stern (Back), or Sideways?

Is the Prop/Motor digging into the ground, acting like an Anchor?

Best of Luck!

Cheers!

Should not be clutching at all,......that is probably your problem. If you ever feel the need to push on the clutch, all the way in quickly or all the way out, never ride the clutch.
