Question about my 4x4
Hey everyone what is max I could pull with my jeep I tried to moved my little boat inside my backyard and the jeep with 4x4 on can't do it and
started to smell clutch

Depends on what you have. (2 or 4 door, transmission, gears, tow package)
Could be:
1000
2000
3500
Go to the jeep website and look in the 'For Owners' - Towing Capacity section...

What do you consider a "little boat"? The jeep is only "rated" to tow 3500 for the unlimited. Why did you think you needed 4wd? I have pulled my little utility trailer loaded with 4000lbs around the yard with no issues. No need to use 4wd unless you are spinning the tires.

its a 4 door unlimited 4x4
i tried with 2x4 first wasn't moving then tires were spining . its a little boat. some how the fucker is heavy . so i put the 4x4L and kinda started moving and i picked up the clutch smell ..tried again and same shit.. so not sure what's happening .
here is a pic of the "boat" dont laugh
me and a friend tried moving it by hand but couldn't move it a bit
not sure how heavy this is

Do you have larger tires? If you are in 4L, you don't need the clutch. Once you release it, the tires will start turning and look for traction, especially since you're on grass. You can fully release the clutch and ONLY press the accelerator pedal.

i was dragging yes . trying to move it to a different spot that's it.. not a mile or any like that
maybe i was clutching to much.. hope was that .. disspointed
