Quadratec is Awesone!

Quadratec is way better than 4wd.com. Tried to place two different orders with 4wd.com and they messed them both up! Quadratec orders went through without issue. have emailed with Dave at northridge and found him very helpful...will be my next order!

My only gripe with Quadratec is their shipping. They base it off of $$$ spent, not weight. My Bestop safari package ended up costing me a lot more in shipping than I thought. After comparing prices with other places including eBay, I realized I paid a lot more than I should have.
I just use google shopping to find the lowest prices plus shipping. Sometimes it's Quadratec, sometimes it's not. I got my RR XHD bumper from CSE offroad, they have really low prices and offer free shipping on items over $100
It's nice to hear they match prices, but doing a little homework is good too.

Re: Quadratec is Awesone!
I'm always looking for deals, so another potential source would be great!

My only gripe about QTec is thier shipping also. Like Xerofall said, you do a bit of home work you can end up saving alot of money. I just purchased a new front bumper that would have cost me +$100 more through QTec for price + shipping.

Only one thing about Quadratec. They always advertise and sell items they do NOT have in stock. I have had to wait many times over 30 days to receive my order. The main thing I dislike about them is they charge you in full before the item is shipped. Most places do not charge till the day the item is shipped.
So I ALWAYS call them first before I make a purchase online.

Re: Quadratec is Awesone!
I didn't get free shipping from Quadratec! I got a "price match" guarantee which included shipping from jeepsandstuff.
I've got a chart with all my future upgrades. For each item I've listed the Quadratec price and the prices from several other online merchants.
When I get ready to purchase an item, in this case, the Rugged Ridge XHD front modular bumper, I go out to each web site and verify the prices, including shipping. Since I have already purchased a lot of stuff from Quadratec, I start with their price. If anyone else is lower, I ask Quadratec if they will match the price. I don't expect Quadratec to match shipping or sales prices. However, in this case they did!
jeepsandstuff uses FexEx which I'm guessing may be less expensive than UPS, thus their lower shipping costs.
As the saying goes "it pays to shop". Right now I'm updating my chart of future upgrades by adding Northridge 4x4 to the list of companies, although they do not have anything on their web site about price matches so I'll just ask next time. With Northridge 4x4 being in the same state as I'm in (Washington), I'll have to consider sales tax. In some cases, the cost of shipping & handling is the same as the state sales tax. If it is, I'd prefer to help local (WA state) businesses.
