Had a very interesting experience today with Quadratec!

My first major upgrade to my 07 2-door Rubicon is to replace the front bumper. One of my wheeling buddies had the Rugged Ridge XHD Modular bumper center section with the winch mount. He has been considering replacing it with a different bumper. So now that I'm reasdy to start, I e-mailed him and asked him the price. He said he's decided not to replace it.

So now I needed to get a brand new one. I had already done my homework for pricing and found out that Quadratec didn't have the lowest price, but they do have a price guarantee. So I called them today and told them what I wanted and who had a better price. Their representative said, one moment while I very the other company's price.

He came back on the phone with better than expected good news. While the other company's price was much lower than Quadratec's, he said they would go further and match the other company's SALES price!

So I got the bumper for $333.55 - shipping & handing included - for almost $100 less than Quadratec's web price!

See, it never hurts to ask!

I ordered the same bumper Yesterday and received it today with free shipping. Quadratec earned themselves a new customer.

Isn't competition a beautiful thing? I used to shop with them all the time back in the day. But now, since they charge for shipping and add surcharges, etc. I wouldn't give them a second thought. Nice to see they hooked you guys up!

I do not disagree with you.
In fact after receiving the JK head light upgrade, I looked at the Northridge 4x4 web site to see what all products they carry.

While they do not charge for shipping on products over $100, I did not see any type of price guarantee. The same bumper costs more at Northridge 4x4 (without shipping costs) than the actual price I paid through Quadratec's price guarantee (which did include shipping & handling). I looked at that and decided that Quadratec with their price matching guarantee was still a better price, even with their shipping.

I think Quadratec's shipping costs are such because they use UPS. The other place which I used for the price match uses FedEx. Quadratec's shipping was 2x the shipping costs of the other vendor.

When doing price matches, I only look at the basic price. Anything else is just icing on the cake/price!

My next order may very well come from Northridge 4x4; just have to wait and see!

 

I agree Quadratec is great. They are super helpful on the phone and they ship fast. I am a loyal customer.

 

I haven't paid shipping with quadratec in 10 years. Just ask and you shall recieve. bumper, winch small crap.

 

I invite Quadratec to do like Northridge: opening a Canadian division
