We need to figure out why Quadratec is killing us on shipping charges and demand they fix them or the members of this forum and any other forum who care about the rights of consumers should boycott their site!

Its not fair they charge in excess of 20% of the purchase price on shipping. We are just honest working Jeep Enthusiasts trying to have fun, we can't afford $47.99 in shipping on a $320 mod!

Respond if you agree and with your opinion either way. I want both sides of the argument.

I've never had any issue with them. If you don't like how much they charge for shipping, order from another vendor. It's your right as a consumer to go else where if you don't like what they have to offer. Not trying to be a donkey, just my .02

I agree their shipping is pricey and I live in PA 30 minutes from them. Part of me wonders why they put a catalog in every shipment no matter how small the item is. The box is always so much bigger to accommodate the weight and size of the catalog.

However if you PM quadratec's jk-forum rep you can get free shipping for being a forum member.

Cool You can get free shipping. I wouldn't personally pay the lazy man tax.

There are a couple ways to get free shipping. The best is to use the google shopping cart.

GOOGLE SHOPPING CART=Free Shipping
You do a search like you would normally in google. Then you click shopping that is on the left had column (under WEB, IMAGES, MAPS etc). Here is a link in the shopping mode for floor liners for example https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C...w=1280&bih=909 (you could switch the search to anything you want to get on there site and it would work). You can put Quadratec in the search terms to get there stuff bumped to the top with what ever it is your looking for. You could find a model number on there site and then search that to be able to find the item quick. You will notice under the price it will say no shipping. By clicking on that link you get the free shipping on your order.

Option 2 is to find the rep and ask for free shipping.

And I only say this because they are a great website and they carry EVERYTHING but so many other sites are not only fair with shipping but they offer FREE SHIPPING when you spend over a certain amount.

I have spent over $877 on their site since I purchased my JK in the end of April of this year (that is basically $220 a month) and shipping has cost me $184.34! You would think at this point I would have gotten free shipping on something, which I would rather they just fix this issue for all my fellow Jeepers rather than just give free shipping once in a while!

MY GOD I cannot believe you just posted this. 10 minutes ago, I ordered a $19 license plate bracket and got charge $40 for shipping...I Pm'd Quadratec off another board. That's unacceptable. Ship USPS, It'll cost $5.00 and I won't have to play the UPS game to get my goods.

(NO FREE SHIPPING TO CANADA)
