Q: Strange elasitc string tied on seatbelt buckle
Hello, I've got a new 2015 rubicon unlimited.
Just found out that the seat belt buckle on the rear left seat (4 of 6:4) has been tied with elastic string very tightly to the bottom of the seat.
I guess this is to prevent the buckle being damaged by steel structures of the other side of the seat (6 of 6:4) when the seats being folded.
The belt being squeezed like this just doesn't look good to me, but I couldn't untie the string cause it's too tight. (It's tied like rope trap)
I just wonder if this is normal for those stock JKs, and I just want to cut it off if this is only for the purpose of preventing damages.
Anyone knows about his? (I've tried search the similar questions but I coudln't find any)

It's there to smoky keep the retainer from falling into the seat and save your passengers from going fishing for their seat belt clip. If you remove it, fold the seats down and back up, you need to fish them back through the seat again. Just there to save a hassle.
