While I do not care for the Jake term I applaud the effort. I recently proposed the term JINO or Jeep In Name Only . I got some supporters and I got some detractors. Huzzah for those us who dare to imagine

Just to clarify........I refer to my 2012 JK as a JaKe......refering more towards the model description then the male name Jake.......for instance "Nice 4 door JaKe you have there"....."What size lift and tire combo is on your JaKe?".........I'm not talking about petting ones hood saying "Good Jake......Good Jake......"

I'll too stick with JK....JaKe just sounds like an odd things to call a vehicle. Or any other name normally given to a person. I know what you mean by the usage, but I just don't think it'll stick. Personally, I would feel awkward calling my JK a Jake.
