Re-gear the rear for $225 to 4.56 and front for another $220 with G2 gears and while you already have the axle shafts out might as well upgrade the shafts for $300 rear $700 for the front. I stayed with 373's on my build because the D30 Ring is weaker the higher you go.
Could've regeared and ran stock shafts. Tack the caps so they don't fall out and find some cheap stockers as spares. Much better setup than running big tires on stock gears because lower gears are weaker.

Hey, I just wanted to add that if you buy the axles from Mopar Jeep performance catalog, or basically any part from them that has a 'P' at the beginning of the part number that there is no warranty. Sold as is. I found this out while pricing front and rear axles. Also, if you're related to a fiat Chrysler union employee you may want to ask them for a voucher to buy with his/her discount. 25% off the price plus sales tax.

Example- AXLE, FRONT ASSEMBLY
‘07-’15 Wrangler, Dana 44TM, 4.10 Ratio, Tru-Lok®
electric
selectable locking differential, 5 on 5.0" JK Wheel
Pattern, w/o Brakes #P5153825AG $2,395.00-discount, comes to 1799.25 plus tax

Thanks. I was there pricing axles out. I'm trying to decide on which way to go- but someone's used axles, buy g2 axles from 4wd.com (discount and rebate through the end of this month), or use my brother's employee discount. Rear 44 is on back order, but if I buy their dana 60's ($7250+$4000) with the brother's discount then it's like getting the rear for almost free! Decisions decisions. ....

I could afford them but not the rims and 40's, changing up the woody shafts, and inevitable divorce that would go with them.

LOL!!! When I was reading posts talking about paying over $7K for each axle, I would always kind of laugh to myself and say, "I remember those days of being single, with no kids and being able to spend every last cent I had on my hobby."

Now, it's all about searching for the best bang for the buck solution for my hobby where the cost is low enough that it can fly under the radar but still get me the results I'ld like to achieve. Over $10K for upgrading parts I already own doesn't quite fly under the radar in my household too well especially when the wife will never be able to understand the justifications behind it. As well, that over $10K spent only gets me half way of where I need to be since it doesn't include the other $10K+ that I will need for a lift install, and the new tires/wheels to go along with it.
