Price check.
I got a quote today for a 2009 2drs JK Rubi. with the following options:
AUTOMATIC TRANSMITION
DK/GRAY/MEDSLATEGRAY CLOTH SEATS
DUAL TOP
REMOTE START SYSTEM
NAVIGATION (MY GIG)
DEEP TINT SUNSCREEN GLASS
SIDE AIR BAGS
POWER CONVENIENCE GROUP
Price quoted is $31,714+tax and license ($34,671 total)
Is it a good price?

Sounds right to me. For years, Rubi's have been around 30K, so, with all the extra's available now, that's in the ballpark. What kind of deals are they making on new 08's they want to get rid of? Sometimes the Rubi doesn't have the same rebates as the other models.

Both Standard on Rubicons for 09' and should be listed as part of the "base price".
That being said... Cars.com has the invoices for 09' Jk's. Build it on the site, get the invoice for the jeep including the options that is has.
Anything Under invoice would be a great price. 1% under is the affiliate program that Jeep offers to certain business's for their employee's so start there if you can.
Hold back on that Jeep is a bit over $1,000 dollars under invoice. Get whatever part of that you can. Good luck.

Actualy if you go to jeep website the power convience group IS NOT standard on the rubi's. Although most of the Rubi's on the lot have that option it is not standard.

I would look for an 08 if at all possible. I know around here there are $2,000 in rebates that would probably put you a couple grand less than an 09.

Are they getting rid of half doors jsut for the rubi's because of the power options or all wranglers??

No, it's definitely NOT a good price. I just ordered a 2009 UNLIMITED 4 Door (you said yours is a 2dr) with the same options (except for the remote start and side airbags) and got a price of $31,445 (or $4705 off the sticker of $36, 150). In other words, you should be able to get a 13% discount off the MSRP on your 2dr (at least). On your 2dr, you're above my price for a 4dr.
You can get an even better deal on a 2008, but the day the 2009 hit the showrooms (and they have), all 2008s instantly lost between $2500 and $3000 dollars. That's generally true for all cars. They loose about 10% of their value just by virtue of a model year change (not, of course, taking into account the depreciation associated with simply driving a car around which takes an even bigger toll on the value). You need to take that into account if you buy a 2008 now.
