In a pretty bad accident today
#24
I still have to take my poor Rubi to the dealer...but now I am considering changing the bumpers and exhaust to some aftermarket stuff since it will have to be replaced anyways.....how would I go about asking the dealership to do that, or who would I ask? Anyone have ideas on this? I'm rushed because like I said, I leave for Florida in 2 days, and need to make a decision.
Don't do it..that's very dishonest...karma man.

sorry for the delay, but I was out of town for a bit and my computer died...just wanted to post up some pics for you all to see. My estimate was only around $4500. and the frame apparently was not bent. So it's in the shop being repaired as we speak, but parts are on back order and its taking longer than anticipated.
All things considered the jeep held up really well considering the other car was a write off.
damage to my front bumper from being pushed into the car infront of me
damage to underside of my Rubi
Rest of the damage
My mom being taken onto the backboard/stretcher
Not bad, all things considered
Should have bought a Jeep

Sounds too much like my last accident. stopped in traffic in So Cal, and slammed into from behind. My Ford Pinto (yes, the ones that like to explode when hit from behind), was crumpled under in the back, and in the front when I got bounced hard into the car in front of me. Managed to limp it off the freeway, but that was a mistake I realized when I saw the clear trail of gas behind me. Jolt was so hard that my fist went from the gear shift into the radio. busted up the plastic face of the radio pretty good, as well as my knuckles. luckily, no further damage than that.
Sincerely, I hope that it all works out for you.

Make Sure You Get Money For You Too!!!
Get money! Now that sounds bad, and I even used to think it was bad. I got into 2 accidents within a month (neither my fault) while driving a service truck. I was young, and didn't want the drivers to have to pay, so I never met with a lawyer or got any money other than to cover my immediate hospital bills. Big mistake.
Now almost 10 years later, I live with pain in my neck and back everyday. I have medical bills now that I have to come up with out of pocket. I didn't realize it at the time, but a settlement would not have come out of the other drivers pocket, it would have come from the insurance company (that is what they are there for) and guaranteed they raised the rates on the drivers who caused these accidents regardless of whether or not I would have gotten some compensation.
Now I have enough money to live and to raise my family, but if I had gotten something to help cover future medical bills and suffering, I could use the money I am paying to doctor bills on JK parts!
IN all seriousness, make sure you get some for everyone effected by this accident. It is not wrong (as I once believed), nor is it harmful to those who caused the accident.
