I am with you on this one. All of my previous vehicles aside from my older Wranglers have had power options. I do like power options, but they are not needed for me in the JK. My windows and top are down 99% of the time, or the doors are off, so no need to have it. Also, one less thing for me to worry about breaking like it has in some of my other vehicles. If I want it later, I can always add it.

I didn't want it but since the only Rubi I could find on a dealer lot had it I got it. Now I'm glad I did. I live in NYC and my doors are on more than I'd like them to be but such is life. It's nice to be able to open all the windows quickly and the ability to unlock the cargo door without a key is great.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like those that have it are glad they do. If I end up ordering a Jeep, it will be on the list. If I decide I can not wait and the situation dictates it, I will take what I can get, power group or not.

The dealer only had one Rubicon and it had the Power and Convenience group. Like so many of the others, I am really glad that I got it. It is really convenient. That said, it wouldn't be a deal breaker if it didn't have it. Bottom line for me: get it if you can. If not, get the vehicle anyway.
This is the first vehicle that didn't have keyless entry or electric windows. I sort of miss it, but at least I can reach the passenger door easily. I feel it's just one less thing to get banged up up (and rendered inoperable) on th trail.

Well man this is my 6th Wrangler and I am pretty used to manual locks n windows... Doors were never on anyway...Seriously...but I will tell you somethin' else- I LOVE the power stuff on the new one! Hell even without the doors on its fun to hit the button on the fob, man! Personally I wouldn't get an Unlimited without the power...

I have a 2dr hardtop without the power group. I miss it only for the remote unlocking of the doors. I have not had my doors or top on for two to three week now.
