Get her the jeep
with 2 jeeps you can go trailrideing and pull each other out ,and not have to worry about trying to get someone else to go in their vehical. So when you want to go you can just go and not wait for anybody to hit the trail with you.
A buddy of mine in West Virginia has 2 JK unlimited's in his driveway. He has his toy and she has her toy. What ever you decide to do good luck

pffttt...I can't afford the tires I want either ....
and for the record "I have asked my wife" what she wants, we both are having fun deciding what to get but we're honestly a couple years away from needing anything more than my wife's present Camry. The 14 yr old will get that car when she's 16 so we're thinking ahead, getting anxious while at it.
But I was thinking in two years the Camaro SS will actually be released and if it comes with the LS7 that would be awesome. Or by then maybe they'll have a v-8 in a Rubi from GM who will redesign Chryslers design since they'll own them

If you go Vette get the Z06. That's a fairly good deal for that price. Plus a Z06 is just freakin awesome.
The JK is also a nice choice. If you're worried about mileage I just put 22+ mpg on my JK X over the weekend. No cruise control and there were some stops.
Honestly I couldn't decide between the Z06 and the JK. Both are just awesome.

If my husband stuck me in a Corvette I'd be mad!!!!
I'm not much of a city girl and the thought of spending all that money on a car that can only get me to the grocery store or mall would get me mad!
If you want to go fast buy a sandrail or race truck and go out and use it. That Corvette will never do more than have an occasional illegal high speed trip on the hwy.
