Plastic Front Air Dam...How long it took you to tear it off while wheeling?

I mangled the clips last night when I installed my light bar. I was going to call the dealer to get new clips but now I'm wondering why the heLL should I!!! It obviously doesn't provide any protection for anything. I guess its only function is aerodynamic. I'm sure it really helps us get that wonderful gas mileage we get!!

From what I read somewhere it makes around a 1 mpg difference.

I broke mine the first night I had the Jeep. I decided to get it fixed, it was technically my parents Jeep. $10 for 3 plastic clips. I broke it again two weeks later. I came home and in the middle of the night grabbed a flashlight and kicked that piece of crap off. It's in the garage now. My hood flutters less and I get the same gas mileage. The dealership even asked me if I was serious when I wanted to get it fixed the first time.
I'm the first Jeeper in my family so I guess they don't understand too well.
