Have your B-I-L open his hood and inspect the front fender aprons where the FJ front structure is breaking off.......

Already have. That has been an issue for a long time. So far his is OK. It looks like only the ones seriously lifted and beaten on are having issues so far. He only has a 2" lift and is pretty careful. Thanks for the heads-up thought.

Another strike against the FJ - a Jeep would never have an issue of the body tearing.
