Just KEEP WAVING. Sooner or later even with the un-knowing something will click.

I bought my first Jeep when I was is the Navy in 1972 a White CJ5 with Black Renegade decals. At that time I remember the sales guy telling me to watch for other Jeep Wranglers because they will wave as you pass by.

I don't know of any salesperson in any Jeep dealership today that would tell that to someone. Do you ? In fact I just meet a real good Jeeper who happens to be a sales guy at a local Jeep dealership when I see him I will ask him if he ever tells a new Jeep owner about the WAVE........

Maybe the exception but my dealer (Troncalli in N Ga) advised about it a couple of times before I left with my new Rubi.

I picked mine up at Lee Chrysler Jeep in Crestview, FL. I have to say excellent dealership! I even got a Christmas card from the salesman, Dave (great guy), even though I haven't been back since I bought it (I live in TX)!

They did not tell me of the Jeep wave when I bought it, but I already knew because several of my friends already had jeeps.

My dealer and I had the conversation as well. It wasn't so much telling me about it but he knew I had a jeep before and a Harley so it was the talk about vehicle waves...

Well I spoke to my friend that is also a Jeep sales guy and he said he and the other two sales people at the dealership alway's tell a new Wrangler owner about the Jeep wave.

In fact when the new owners (people who have never owned a Jeep before) come back for warrenty work or their first oil change they always tell him stories about waves....

He thinks it's about a 50-50 shot that a Jeep sales person will tell a new buyer about the wave. He said that alot of it seems to depend just on the dealership it's selfe.........

I don't wave. I pass probably 30 or so jeeps a day, in a very short time. Gets annoying. Most people around here don't wave. Just too many jeep owners......
