I lean on mine all the time when I am talking to people... never had any issues. Granted to sit on it I would have to jump pretty high but I dont see putting a little weight leaning on it causing any issues...

You can get clips cheap on EBay the dealer will rip you off for them

Jeep swag also has the tree style fasteners that will work. They are way cheaper than dealership and hold better IMHO. As for me I stopped fighting my friends and swapped out to bushwacker flats.

Yes, this may all change when I get my c's welded and axle sleeves in later this month or early next month. Then I can go up in lift and tire size....funds permitting.
My friends arn't that tall...LOL
until then, kicks in the junk and falcon punches for all who sit on my fenders.
