Paint idea - Flat Black (matte)

the tony hawk jk is flat black, there was a thread about this a while back, it had and od geen 4 door that looked pretty good too, ill see if i can find the pics

as far as i know its paint, i dunno what vial wrapped is.
ill try and find the old thread that talked about this, but if i remember corectly some one had looked into it and it one of the more exspensive paintjobs you can get... go figure right?!

Why would it be any more expensive? Take any color you want and add flattener to the paint to whatever level of shine you want or don't want- and there you have it. Hell, if you can paint a set of toenails you can paint a flat finish....

you dont even have to repaint it.....there are varying degrees of clear.
Any paint shop should be able to sand your current gloss clear, and shoot a flat or satin clear on it.
If youre curious about the satin, check out both of my motorcycles in my albums. The blue is factory satin paint (Pacific Blue Denim), the black is just a satin clear.

One of the big 4wd magazines had an article on a hummer they are doing up where they resprayed the clear coat with a flat clear coat. That might be a way to go to achieve the look you are after.
