Default Over a year later we finally found the squeak!

It has taken 14 months and three Jeep dealers to finally figure out the squeak we have on our Rubicon is from a bent axle flange and now they tell me Chrysler probably will not cover it because of the elapse ld time frame! Let's see, purchased It in March 2010 brand new. Squeak started in August 2010 and we have been in to three different dealers for a total of at least 10 or 11 trips! Arghhhhhh

Fight this. As long as you have the dealership printouts that show they attempted to solve this issue multiple times, you should stand a good chance of having them fix it. If not threaten to Lemon Law the vehicle. At least in NJ, if a dealership attempts to fix the same problem at least 3 times and can't - you can issue a claim. Not saying to dump the vehicle in any stretch, you are merely looking to get the proper $$$ to cover something they should have fixed correctly and without charge in the first place.

NOTE: I'm not one of those guys that runs around screaming for a lawyer, just hate seeing someone get screwed out of what is rightfully theirs because of dealership ineptitude.

This.

You brought in the problem, they couldn't find it, you brought it in 10 or 11 times, Jeep needs to take care of this. Call the regional person with Jeep do whatever, but you should not be responsible for the charges to fix the problem.
