The regular XJ Cherokee (Now Liberty & Patriot) equals a Discovery.
The Wrangler is most like the Defender with the JK = D90 and the JKU = D110

for me itz a nope...i hate it...
but if there is demand...why not...
people want different...unique...
i see heaps of pickups with 22's and low profiles...
so why not a JK sport...
if you're gonna make money...go for it...
i'll check out your 'regular' products.

I threw up in my mouth a little when I saw it, but sadly I know there is a market for it. If jeep ever gets abound to making their concept truck again I'm sure someone out there will jack it sky high and someone will drop it to the ground. I don't see these selling even half as many as dodge nitros. Have you ever been on one? It feelis like a wrangler got bored and banged a Durango and they had a midget baby. The point of the nitro story is they have a "street version" that has an srt-8 in it and 22s or 21s.

I think Jeep already has on road factory performance covered with the upcoming SRT8 GC. I do think there is plenty of room for a high performance offroad though ala SVT Raptor.
It would be cool with the nice interior and even a permanent top with all the high performance engine and transmission mods, but the suspension and wheels and tires for high speed offroading.

Lets not focus on the winch or smaller - stupid - details - Lets focus on the trim package...
Its clear Jeep has up-scaled their interior with the 2011, heading in a definitive direction. WE WONDER WHAT ELSE A JK can do -
The question is - can a JK do Range Rover Sport?

Looks freaking sweet if you ask me. But I came over from that market, And don't get butt hurt if someone does something to their vehicle that I don't care for.
I know perception on this board is Mainly: Jeeps are only tough off road vehicles. However, many, many Jeeps never see the dirt. Most of my miles are highway and not trail. I personally would drive something like that and have the Jeep I have now for the trails.
I like to see something different.

Way to much rice! If you want a Jeep sports car then get Jeep to make the renegade.
