Hi guys -

This pic has been around - however RIPP would like your opinion on the concept... We think a Wrangler is a do anything vehicle - We are not going to race our JK or drift it as depicted in the pic - just curious about the concept.

I could see a Jeep street rod (Muscle Car), but not some refugee vehicle from Fast & Furious.

What's the point of the winch. I don't think some one will need towing wile racing. And the weight of that jk would be way to slow for the track

Jeeps are just cool no matter what.
I can think of a lot of other vehicles I would rather drop.
Why is there a warn winch on a drift vehicle?
I am interested in why you guys are wondering everyones thoughts?
Do you have a concept in mind, but want public opinion before you discuss it?
Come on in ... the waters warm and its only a shark tank after all.

Nope - what sparked the question was a lowering kit Eibach released - just seemed odd they would do that - But then we were solicited by Rides magazine and it seems a lot of urban JK's are going down...

Just a poll on a JK-Forum

Nope... but lowering is just not my thing... if you bought it and want to do it... it's your cash... it's just not for me...

My thought exactly, unless that winch line is connected to a high powered air cannon to shoot that sucker and do some batman / spiderman like moves, what's the point. Plus the added weight kind of goes against the racing concept.

I also just noticed that this must be a doctored image or a RC Wrangler, I don't see a driver behind the wheel...

Lets not focus on the winch or smaller - stupid - details - Lets focus on the trim package...

Its clear Jeep has up-scaled their interior with the 2011, heading in a definitive direction. WE WONDER WHAT ELSE A JK can do -

The question is - can a JK do Range Rover Sport?
