Ok, but I run a 3" lift now, and am not sure if I want to go to a 4" or stay at 3 and either go with regular flex arms or a long arm set,
are you saying that even with a 3" lift, I will have issues? and should go Long arm? or can I get the same results with just the reg. flex arms on the 3"?
Again, (excuse the ignorance) what can I gain by using long arms vs. short on the 3" lift? Is it articulation only? or does handling come in to play even with the 3" lift?

Ok if you ran a TeraFlex 3" on your 2dr, I would suggest the LA kit due to the height/handling. Typically a 3" on a 4dr short arms or LA's would be fine. Your JK will handle better on/off road with the long arms vs. short arms.

The JK is such a fabulous vehicle!.... , and is extremely capable with mid arms if set up properly. I agree that a long arm can provide some more flex, and better pinion angles, but the cost over the mid arm on the JK isn't justified for me, and I also don't want the longer arms that reduce clearance for rock crawling.
jmho.

i'm kinda with him on this ... if your not wheelin every weekend, and only 3", i say stick to what ya got. if you go 4", DD, and do wheel often enough then i would say the long arms would be a god-send for ya.

on the other hand, if you are runnin 4" of lift ... you better have a 38" tire or better!!
