Opinions please - wheels/tires
I have a silver 2007 Jeep Unlimited Sahara with a 4" lift and 35" Dick Cepek FCII tires. I want to replace the stock 18" wheels and was thinking of getting the KMC Monster wheels (Black). My concern is that the 18" rims are too big and also that the Monsters are a little too flashy. Is it really worth spending the extra money to get smaller wheels AND new tires? Anyone out there have the KMC Monsters? What do you think? I don't get a chance to offroad that much, but do occasionaly. Opinions are greatly appreciated.

I think you'd be okay with an upgrade path of 18" wheels on your 35s, then 37" tires later when the 35s need replacing. Of course, there are upgrades you may need to put that much meat under your Jeep, and you might run into additional issues with easier breakage, worse gas mileage, etc. There are plenty of threads here on JK-Forum discussing these things.
As for your choice of rim: They're not what I'd put on my Jeep, but I wouldn't call them too "flashy." It's your Jeep, do what pleases you.

I don't get why people keep saying the monsters are flashy. If they were chrome, then sure. But I think they look great. Definitely what I want for my black JKU Sahara. If you went off-roading more, then maybe you wouldn't want anything from kmc xd series.
A wheel I like that's a little more off-road friendly is the pro comp 7031, which is my second choice.
Good luck!
