Default Opinions/appraisals/comments please...

Ok, guys, as most of you probably know, I've been hanging out here for almost a year JKless and wanting one the whole time. Well, I'm going to look at one today and I want some of you to help me out with the values a bit.

I am not going to post the asking price, only the rest of the ad. Feel free to tell me what you think it's worth.

07 Jeep Wrangler, 4DR, 4x4, 15k miles, black, soft top, AT, manual locks/windows, 33-inch tires, nice rims, 3.5-inch Tera-Flex lift, sidesteps, adjustable front trackbar, includes spare. Asking ********

My thoughts ---

Did all auto 2007's have 4.10's? If so, that's a good thing. Even if not, it'll still have 3.73's, so I could hold off on regearing until I put 35's on it.

I should have no problems running 35's with the 3.5" TF lift, right?

I know what I think it's worth now, just want to see if anyone out there can confirm what I think.

I'll try to put up some pics in the next day or so if I can get down to look at it.

Thank for any/all comments.

Wow that sound pretty sweet! No major problems with 35"s maybe some flat fenders or 1" body lift at MOST. All '07 auto's had 4.10 gears. I'd say $19000
Edit: well maybe a bit more. I'mean it's got the Teraflex lift and 33"s. OK I'll go Um $19650

Some of the same thoughts I had. Unfortunately, they're asking much, much more than that. I might lowball them, but sometimes I feel like I'm insulting them. Might just keep watching the ads to see if they run it at a lower price later. Right now, it's just at an insane price. Still might go look at it though, so I can make a good offer when the time is right.

Any more out there with comments?

If it was the 4" LA lift, then I'd be more apt to give more for it, but since they're only runnin' 33's, I'd say it's the 3". Unless I'm missing something, that 3" lift is <$1000 so it's not gonna make a huge difference in the price.

NADA and KBB both show this Jeep way under $20k.

FWIW, I just talked to the seller and she said they've been trying to sell it for 2 months and they just dropped $1500 off the asking price. That tells me that they're not REALLY pressed to sell it, but they're beginning to see they're not gonna get what the started at. That's good for me, I guess.

I'm not gonna see this thing today, but maybe sometime next week.

Keep the comments comin'. I'm thinkin' I might offer them $21,500 for it now, but that is still well below what they're asking for it now.

More to come.

I got my 07 2DR for a little over 11k with a 2k trade in. So that plus new wheels and tires, 14.5k then the lift 15.5. Throw in the rest id say 17 maybe 18k. Plus you're still getting the basic warranty coverage, etc. I'd definitely go no more than 20k

For 22k you could get a brand new unlimited. I don't think the seller is considering how much jeep has reduced their prices. The local dealership is knocking 6k off an unlimited rubicon. Two years ago they wouldn't come off sticker. Go to the edmunds site and see how much it's worth as a private party sale. Then add in no more than half the cost of the add-on parts. That should give you a decent idea of what it's worth.

Sounds good I agree around 19K,35's will work for awhile but you will want to regear. And they should be fine with a teraflex 3.5".
