Wow... just think of what it would be like in Houston if Alex followed some of the paths that the models indicated... coulda been another Hurricane Dolly.

Great Pics! I love driving when it gets shitty. Used to take my old XJ out and play in flooded streets all the time. Now I'm in UT but we do get HUGE powder days. Gotta love breaking trail in 2-3' of white stuff when no one else is dumb enough to be on the road

Oh I'm sure we will get at least one more close call this year.

Awesome Pics! I wish there was that much water up here in Long Island right now through this "Heat Wave" the passed couple of days... How safe is it going through that deep of water in our JKs? I know the intake is high... but is there anything else that should be watched out for?

Nice pics...It is so cool to just hop a curb and make your own path. I've crawled a few times to get somewhere faster!

Probably so. The waters in the gulf are ahead of schedule temperature wise. Right now the water temp is around 86-87 Degrees which we typically don't see until the height of hurricane season (Aug-Sep). Good thing Invest 96-L (Bonnie) had no structure and the windsheer was too high... it could have been another Dolly. I think we are in for a rough year on the gulf coast.
