Has anyone officially tested yet whether or not the slow JK era (07-11) soft tops will fit on the 2012?

I'd imagine they will, however I've read that some people are finding subtle differences in the cage such that they're aftermarket tops no longer fit.

If you're in the know, do tell!

 

im using the newer style on my 07. for you you would need to have to older style door surrounds. the only thing different between the two is the way the top seals to them. but they still mount the same way to the jeep no matter what year.

 

the only diffence i know is the surrounds.
cable top uses one type
older type uses the other
far as i know they alll fit as long as you get everything.

 

I find it funny how they bring back the original design of the rear window. It's only been like that for decades and they screwed up on the early models of the JK? Always hated how awkward the rear window is on my 2010.
